Signature Models: the seam we don't hide
When you have been sewing since 1992, at some point, you stop hiding the seam. You make it white on black and black on white because you know it will hold. That is how Signature Models was born, AFFECT's curated collection: classic styles made from luxury fabrics that we stand behind without reservation.
What is Signature Models
This is not a new collection in the usual sense. Signature is a selection. It includes styles that meet three conditions: a fabric that lasts for years, a cut that does not follow seasonal trends, and craftsmanship that we can show off rather than hide. Some of the styles are new for this autumn. Others we have been sewing for a long time, and customers continue to order them, which for us is stronger proof than any advertisement.
The common visual language of the collection is the contrasting seam. A visible seam is a design choice you only afford when you are confident in the sewing machine and the hands behind it. For us, that represents more than thirty years in our own production facility in Sliven.
The fabrics
At Signature, we work with three fabrics, and none of them were chosen by chance.
Modal, a fiber made from beech wood. It feels softer than cotton, drapes more fluidly over the body, and has one property that is crucial for our dark styles: it is colorfast. The black of the Bianka Noir stays black even after a year of washing.
Fine cotton with high fabric density. This is not the ordinary cotton found in mass-market pajamas, but a thinner and smoother yarn that breathes better and softens with every wash without wearing thin. For those who prioritize natural fabrics above everything else.
A cotton and modal blend, for when we want both: the structure and breathability of cotton with the softness and fluid drape of modal. In all cases, the small percentage of elastane maintains the shape of the cut, ensuring the trousers do not stretch out at the knees.
All three fabrics work well on both warm and cool nights. That is why Signature is not a seasonal collection.
The styles in the selection
Bianka Noir
An all-black pajama set with a contrasting white seam and long straight-leg trousers. 90% modal, 10% elastane. The purest expression of the collection's philosophy: one color, one line, nothing superfluous.
Ace Night
A white blouse with a signature illustration and a black seam, black straight-leg trousers with a white seam and side pockets. 90% modal, 10% elastane. The mirror image of Bianka Noir, for those who prefer lighter colors.
Casual Vibe Blue
A dark blue set made of 90% fine cotton: an oversized blouse with dropped shoulders and short sleeves, and wide, straight-leg trousers with an elastic waistband and pockets. The style you can wear at home or out to the store without having to change.
